Artist's Comments

Flower, flower grow for me,
Become a flower from a seed,
Grow your roots and a stem,
Let the water come right in

Flower, flower you are true,
You make me happy when I am blue,
You became a flower from a seed,
You did all that just for me

This is a beautiful shot! It really struck out at me!

There's an air to it that I can't put my finger on, almost surreal.

The placement of the blossoms is awesome. I like how we see half the daffodil, and that its leaning toward the right. The tulip adds balance and a nice horizontal line and keeps the shot well weighted.

The work together in great unity, but I like how each flower also has its own personality.

The contrast between the yellow and red really pops, and it makes both blossoms really stand out.

The focus could have been a teeny bit better on this shot, it blurs a bit, from the looks of it because of camera motion. It distorts the details a little bit, and a bit more clarity on the water drops would have really added to the overall shot.

Focus aside, this is still a strong and beautiful shot. :D
