don't quite know what to put here yet

I recently came across a news article by teh lovely `
Beccalicious that grabbed my interest to such an extent that I just had to feature it here in a brand-new journal.
Again, the article deals with self-harm. However, since this is an art site, it introduces a very interesting project for all the talented artists out there. Basically, `
Beccalicious, on behalf of
Harmless, is looking for artists right across the spectrum to contribute to a book
"Harmless want to hear from all kinds of people with all sorts of backgrounds to submit to this book. Whether you have experienced self harm personally, or through friends and family, or if you are a professional who has maybe had some experience. You could be someone who just wants to reach out to people, or show people there is a road to recovery. If you feel you have something to offer, then please submit." she says.
The full article can be found here:
[link]Please take some moments to read it, and if you feel you could contribute in any way, please contact becca directly.
As you probably know by now, self injury is an issue very close to my heart and personal to me.
I have been battling depression and self harm for about 4 years now. During that time I lost a child due to miscarriage, my long-term relationship broke up, and I've had continuing trouble holding down a job. I have also been admitted to psych wards on a number of occasions. Right now, I am out of hospital, 5 months selfharm-free and looking for a job. Things aren't great, but a lot better than they used to be.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
Self harm is an addiction. It's not big, it's not clever,it's not "Emo" but it's a desperate cry for help. It's a coping mechanism when all else fails. It's something many many people battle with every day of their lives.
So if you have something to say, if you feel you can help, please read the article and see what you can do.
Thank you
